This year, Rebecca Howarth and Richard Hunter will represent the English Speaking Union. Rebecca is a graduate of the University of Birmingham. During her competitive debating career, Rebecca was a quarterfinalist at the European University Debating Championship. Richard was a two-time finalist at the Northern Ireland Schools debating competition, before pursuing a degree in modern history at the University of St. Andrews.
