John R. Park Debate Society Opens Season with Top Honors
The John R. Park Debate Society opened its competitive season for the year at the
Rocky Mountain Classic held at Colorado State University-Pueblo (Sept. 23-25). The
competition featured colleges and universities from seven states (Arizona, California,
Colorado, Nebraska, Texas, Utah, and Wyoming), including Texas Tech University, Concordia
University, and San Diego State University. The thirteen students in attendance earned
top honors at the tournament in several events, as well as in overall competition.
