John R. Park Debate Society Achieves Excellence in Idaho

The John R. Park Debate Society continued its Spring 2020 season by attending the first annual Coyote Howl Invitational hosted by the College of Idaho in Caldwell, Idaho. In competition against 10 schools from 5 states, the Debate Society turned in a commanding performance. Among the highlights, Debate Society members won all three debate events in which they participated, including earning the top three placings in two events. Additionally, team members placed twelve of fourteen individual speaking events in final rounds of competition. The team will continue its season on February 7-10 at the Sunset Cliffs Classic, held in San Diego, CA.
