John R. Park Debate Society Wins Championships on Both Coasts

The John R. Park Debate Society concluded the fall semester with two tournaments the weekend of December 3-5, 2021. First, the team sent three students to compete at the Off-Broadway Swing hosted by Hofstra University and Nassau Community College. The rest of the team competed online at the Pacific Southwest Collegiate Forensic Association (PSCFA) Fall Championships hosted by Moorpark College. In New York, two John R. Park Debaters closed out the final round of Lincoln-Douglas Debate while two teammates did the same in California for International Public Debate. The Debate Society also won the four-year sweepstakes award at the PSCFA Fall Championships for the fourth year in a row.
