John R. Park Qualifies Twenty Events to AFA National Individual Events Tournament

The John R. Park Debate Society traveled to Colorado Springs, Colorado on February 23-26 to participate in the American Forensics Association District IX Qualifying Tournament hosted by The Colorado College. At the last tournament before the Debate Society heads into the national championship season, the Debate Society won 3 events, qualified 20 in total to the American Forensics Association National Individual Events Tournament that will be held in April, and senior team member, Jose Soto, earned a spot on the American Forensics Assoication's All-American Team.  The Debate Society will kick off its culminating national and international championships on March 11 when it travels to Montreal to participate in the International Forensics Association's annual tournament.
