Debate Society Begins 2025-2026 Season in Idaho

The John R. Park Debate Society began its 2025-2026 competitive speech season on September 26, 2025, traveling to Twin Falls, Idaho to compete at the Fran Tanner Open hosted by the College of Southern Idaho. Eight University of Utah students competed against a field of 11 other schools, including Weber State, Boise State, and Montana State University. 

The debate society will continue its season in October at the team's first showing of CEDA debate in over two decades at the University of Houston!
