John R. Park Debate Society Wins "Best in the West" Two Years in a Row

The John R. Park Debate Society traveled to Santa Clara, California on February 16-18, 2018 to participate in Western States Communication Association (WSCA) Invitational hosted by Santa Clara University. At the tournament, the team won 4 of 11 public speaking events, finished in semifinals in debate, and earned, for the second year in a row, WSCA's "Best in the West" season-long award. The team will continue its spring season in Colorado Springs, CO over the weekend of Feb. 23-26, 2018 at the American Forensics Association's District Qualifying Tournament.
